A great concern turned into a shared mission.
Founded in 2016, AgricConnect is a national organisation working to eradicate poverty and improve food security by leveraging technology to connect smallholder farmers to ready markets through climate-smart and sustainable agriculture.
With adequate knowledge and understanding of development issues in Ghana, the creation of AgricConnect reflects a great concern about the need to address the lack of opportunities in our communities — particularly among vulnerable children, youth and women.
We work at the intersection of agriculture and development, renewable energy and clean drinking water, vocational skills, and policy influence. Our mission is to bridge the gap between smallholder farmers and thriving markets, using technology to reduce post-harvest losses, alleviate poverty and combat hunger.

From our first software cohort to climate leadership and market systems — each chapter builds on the last.
Founded in Kumasi
AgricConnect begins with a simple conviction: when smallholder farmers are connected to knowledge and markets, whole communities rise.
First software cohort
A free software development training programme transforms more than 100 young lives, with five graduates moving into advanced training.
SFEM launches
We begin working with 300 youth and women smallholder farmers in Ejura and Bosomtwe to strengthen market systems.
Climate Leadership
With Kansas State University, the U.S. Department of State and IREX, we launch a project to build 50 community climate leaders.
YVEI expands
Our vocational work grows to support school dropouts with IT, agritech, mentorship and enterprise skills.
