SFEM Project: turning opportunity into lasting change.
This SFEM project is implemented by Agric Connect among 300 youth and women smallholder farmers in Ejura and Bosomtwe.
Through the market-systems approach, the project aims to uplift youth and women smallholder farmers out of poverty by improving access to suppliers and markets by 2025. It improves the employment and resilience of smallholder farmers, creates new opportunities for successful production and marketing of agricultural produce, and provides access to finance so small farmers can purchase the inputs they need to improve food production.
We work alongside farmer groups, input suppliers and off-takers to strengthen every link in the value chain — from planting and post-harvest handling to aggregation and fair pricing.
